Role: Graphic designer for the Swedish contingent
Client: Swedish scout organization
INTRODUCTION
worlds largest scout camp
I am graphic designer in the communications team for the Swedish contingent at the World Scout Jamboree 2027 in Poland. In that role, I am responsible for everything from color and layout to the design of icons, merch products and a whole lot of scout patches. The goal is to create the greatest experience of a lifetime for over 2,500 Swedish scouts participating the worlds largest scout camp with a total of nearly 45 000 participants.

The announcement, Stockholm, September 2026
One of the worlds largest brands
I spoke for our unit leaders about our brand and graphic identity during our meeting in Stockholm. I think it’s amazing that we Scouts represent one of the world’s largest brands, so I talked about how we can manage it well together. At the end of the session, all 215 leaders received, almost ceremoniously, a gold envelope announcing their units name. I was so happy about how excited and impressed everyone was after my session. It was so much fun!

Scout patch design
patches creating friends
Our contingent consists of 55 units. When I, together with the team, created their unit scout patches, we had three goals:
- Belonging - they must be clear and consistent.
- Friendship - they must be swappable* and invite to new friendships.
- Commitment - they must create a commitment and be part of a system that can be pieced together.
*swapping is an activity on a jamboree when scouts switch patches with each other.
